OHLEG Login

OHLEG Login, OHLEG stands for The Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway, which is essentially an electronic information network that enables Ohio law enforcement agencies to share and access criminal justice data in efficient and secure matter. The OHLEG network provides its users with many useful investigation tools and training applications that help prevent and solve crime.

Below you can find detailed instructions on how to sign up, log in, and retrieve your password. All of these three processes will be described using step-by-step clear and simple instructions to make things as plain and simple for you as possible.

OHLEG Signup

If you don’t have your login credential to access OHLEG network yet, you must follow the following steps:

Step #1: Visit https://ohleg.org/

Step #2: Click on the text “OHLEG Security Training Video” which is located on the left side of the screen, just below the login frame.

Step #3: By clicking on “OHLEG Security Training Video” a new tab “OHLEG Security Video” will open. This is basically a form, which you must fill out with your information, including first name, last name, agency, email, and ORI. After entering all the information, click the “Submit” button. Later you will receive access to watch the video.

Step #4: Have an existing OHLEG member (a person who already has access to the network) from your agency log into the network and click on click “OHLEG Online Account Application.”

Step #5: Complete the application request form for the new user and click the “Submit Application” Button.

Step #6: The Agency Chief/Sheriff/CEO or the designated “Approver” will have to log into OHLEG and click “OHLEG Online Account Application”.

Step #7: The Chief/Sheriff/CEO or the designated “Approver” will click “OHLEG Account Requests Awaiting Agency Approval” from the dropdown under “Agency Administration.” They will click “select” next to the application they wish to approve.

Step #8: Assign OHLEG Apps, confirm Required Security Training Completed by the Applicant, and Enter their Title. Click “Approve”.

Completing the above steps, you will gain access to your own OHLEG account.

OHLEG Login Process

Once you have had your account created, you will be able to log in to your account easily following the below steps.

Step #1: Visit https://ohleg.org/

Step #2: On the left side of the screen you will see the login frame. There are two empty prompt boxes, one for username and the other one for your password.

Step #3: Once you have entered your username and password click on the “Log On” button.

OHLEG Forgot Password Process

If you lost your password, don’t worry as this happened to all of us before. There are so many passwords we must remember these days, that all platforms are well prepared for lost-password situations. Follow the below steps to retrieve your password:

Step #1: Visit https://ohleg.org/

Step #2: On the left side of the screen you will see the login frame. Below the blue “Log On” button you will see a gray “Forgot Password” button. Click on it.

Step #3: A new tab will open where you must click on the “Reset Password” text. This will open another tab.

Step #4: On this tab enter your username, then enter the letter-number combination (to make sure you are human) and click on “Continue”.

You will then receive an email on how to finalize the process.
